UP LATE: BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK AT THE GARDEN MUSEUM

  • Garden Museum Lambeth London (map)

Originary Arts returns to the Garden Museum once again, this time for Up Late, part of British Flowers Week. Join us in creating a floral Time Capsule! We invite you to create submissions to go into a time capsule, buried at the Garden Museum, and to be opened in at least 200 years time.

Originary Arts invites you to write about and draw your favourite flowers, share flower memories, or descriptions and drawings of flowers you want to be remembered in the future. Imagining 200 years and beyond in the future, it’s an opportunity to help preserve the memory of current flowers for future generations and also capture a moment in time for future generations.

There’ll also be sound and music performances by Laura Misch, floral cocktails served in the garden, amazing floral installations in the museum by Frida Kim, Harriet Parry, Kate Wren, McQueen’s Flowers and Wagner Kreusch, and more to explore.

This Up Late at the Garden Museum for British Flowers Week is inspired by the intersection of art, technology and nature. Among the floral installations created by five of Britain's top florists, discover activities and performances with an optimistic take on the future of bringing more nature into our built environments.
