Tales from Greywing House with Molly Beth Morossa (LIVE THEATRE)

  • Brighton Open Air Theatre Dyke Park Road Brighton BN3 6EH (map)

Celebrate Halloween in Brighton with a live theatre outdoor show ‘Tales from Greywing House’. Originary Arts are co-producing this show with Lauren Sweeney as Blue Moon Halloween Season. Award winning performer Molly Beth Morossa presents a classically gothic tale intertwining dark storytelling, poetry and cabaret. A show which is sure to carry you out into deep, dark waters. An examination of isolation and loss with dashes of black comedy woven throughout, this haunting tale is perfect for the Halloween season. Reviving and reworking this Brighton Fringe 2015 hit, expect to meet new characters and uncover more dark secrets in this curious coastal town.  Performed under the full moon.

TICKETS AND INFO HERE, £15 or £12 concessions

Greywing House sits precariously on the coast keeping watch over a cruel and tumultuous ocean. Miss Amelia has prepared your room, and awaits your arrival to introduce guests both past and present, from sickly Mr Thurston upstairs, to little Lucy and her “friends”. Why has Miss Amelia been left to run the guest house alone? And who left another seagull carcass in the kitchen? Breakfast is unfortunately no longer provided as one can never be entirely certain of the time, and a few simple house rules: no smoking, no pets or animals (excepting, of course, Mr Thurston up the stairs) and no chanting of evocations in communal areas.

Part of Blue Moon Halloween Season alongside Séance. Gothic dress, macabre masks, Halloween costumes and frightful feasts are welcome to help get into the spirit.

60 minutes, no interval, 18+ (16+ if accompanied by an adult)
